Steven/Connor:
He is the son of Angel and Darla, and is graced with amazing speed and hearing
(being the child of two vampires, do these things surprise you?). His conception
and birth were prophesized but were a miracle none the less. As an infant,
he was kidnapped by the vampire bounty hunter, Daniel Holtz (whose quest
for vengeance against Angel dated back to the 18th century) and taken to
a hell dimension where he was raised as Holtz's son, Steven. During his
time in Cortoth, he was taught to fight and kill demons as well as to hate
Angel for being one. Though a few short weeks had passed in this dimension,
by the time he and Holtz returned, he had become an angry teenager. After
Justine killed Holtz (at his request), Connor was led to believe that Angel
had done the deed. As a result, he tried to put his father in a watery grave.
He had no idea that Cordelia had stopped time and intervened, rescuing Angel
from certain death. After believing he had sent his father to the bottom
of the ocean, he left for Sunnydale on a quest to kill Buffy Summers because
she had once loved Angel - a crime for which Connor believed she should
be punished. While there, he began dating Buffy's sister, Dawn. His intentions
at first were to get to Buffy through Dawn, but as he got to know Dawn,
he grew to love her. After being approached by Wesley, he joined Wolfram
& Hart for what he thought was an assignment to get rid of Buffy so
that the firm could take over Sunnydale to make it safe for everyone. Eventually,
he and Angel reunited once Wesley explained to him what Holtz and Justine
had done. |

Cecily
Addams/Halfrek: A former vengeance demon who became human after disobeying
the laws of Vengeance -- she helped Anya and the Scoobies while they fought
with Warren. After becoming human, she worked for Anya at the Magic Box
where it was learned that she had once been Cecily, the love of Spike's
life before he had been turned. Once Spike returned from England to become
Buffy's watcher, the two rediscovered one another and tried to make a go
of things. Unfortunately, her heart was broken when William realized that
he was still head over heels in love with Buffy. As a result, she tried
unsuccessfuly to reach D'Hoffryn to have him turn her back into a vengeance
demon. When that failed, she was "captured" by Gavin Park and
taken to the Master where she was turned into a vampire - having her vengeance
on William afterall. |
|
D'Hoffryn:
Anyanka and Halfrek's boss and Lord of Arashmahal --the Vengeance world.
After Xander walked out on Anya the day of their wedding, he offered the
girl her vengeance position back to which she readily agreed. However, in
the end, he had to punish both her and Halfrek for helping Anya's friends
when they should have been assisting Warren with his vengeance needs. After
dishing out the punishments, he returned to Arashmahal and hasn't been heard
from since. |

Joyce Summers:
Previously married to Hank; she and Buffy moved to Sunnydale after the
two divorced. Though she was clueless at first as to her daughter's profession,
eventually she came to understand and support Buffy's work. Several months
after Dawn appeared, Joyce was diagnosed with a brain tumor but after an
operation, was given a somewhat clean bill of health. Just when everyone
thought they were out of the woods, she suffered an aneurysm that was related
to the tumor and died. Despite the fact that Joyce has passed on, she has
become a messenger for The Powers That Be...appearing to both Buffy and
Dawn in separate visions, warning of the impending doom they are to face
as well as trying to give them support and encouragement against the Master.
She has also been chosen by the Powers to act as a type of spirit guide
for those who have been called to fight against the Last Judgment. |

Geoffrey
Ashcroft: Nephew of Quentin Travers, Geoffrey is a rakishly handsome
man in his mid-twenties and a fourth generation member of the Council of
Watchers. He's the second son of Beatrice and Garrett Ashcroft and fraternal
twin of Bronwyn who is also studying to become a Watcher. Before attending
the academy, he studied at Oxford University where he received his degree
in ancient Egyptian History. He is fluent in six languages, three of which
are ancient and extinct. After literally running into William in the library,
the two became fast friends, bonding over Manchester United and the thrill
of a fight. Though he is the nephew of the head of the Council, it does
not keep him from stirring up trouble or creating a ruckus. |

Garrick
Lewisham-Smythe: First cousin of Rupert Giles, Garrick is an intelligent,
serious man in his late-twenties. He comes from a long line of Watchers
on both sides of the family (his mother and grandmother were both Watchers
as well as his great-grandfather). However, he is one of a select few that
come from a family that has had several Slayers born into it. One of the
most notable of his descendents includes Lucy Hanover, a Slayer who left
England to patrol Virginia in the mid-1860's. Like his friend Geoffrey,
he was educated at Oxford where he earned his degree in History (concentrating
mainly on ancient Sumerian culture). He met William when they were both
assigned to help translate the Last Judgment prophecy. It was through William
and Geoffrey's constant shenanigans and forced trips to the local pub, that
he finally loosened up and learned to enjoy his time at the academy. |
|
Clem:
He was first introduced as part of the group of demons playing poker with
Spike when Spike and Buffy were looking for information on her attackers.
He became one of Spike's friends and accompanied the vampire to the Slayer's
birthday party, where he was trapped with the others after Dawn made a wish
to Halfrek. While crypt-sitting for Spike, he inadvertently became Buffy
and Dawn's psychologist when he invited Buffy inside for lemonade. It was
through this friendly session that he and Dawn made Buffy realize that she
was as much at fault in the relationship as Spike was. When Spike returned
to Sunnydale as William, this friendly demon was the one who pointed out
that Spike and Buffy were "destined" to be together despite the
fact that the newly human vampire was dating Cecily. Currently, he is living
in the crypt that Spike once called home and helping the gang to defeat
the Master and stop the Last Judgement. |

Alan Francis
Doyle: Known as Doyle to his friends, he was part of the original group
of Angel Investigations and a half demon. His unique ability to receive
visions from the Powers, made him an integral part of AI. During his tenure
there, he fell for the former cheerleader, Cordelia Chase. Though he tried
to keep his demon side a secret from her, she eventually learned the truth.
Unfortunately, before their relationship could develop, he died while protecting
a family of half demons from a militaristic order of pure-blood demons.
But before his death, he gave Cordelia a passionate kiss, passing along
his powers to her. Recently he was sent by the Powers to act as a guide
to Angel and Cordelia during their Last Judgment Trial, trying to convince
Angel that no matter what happened during the trial, that the souled vampire
must continue to "fight the good fight". |
